Dazzle vs Lina

How this matchup plays

Lining up a full combo on a key target is Lina's main job, but Dazzle's Shallow Grave can completely shut that down. A well-timed Grave means the target survives the initial burst from Laguna Blade and other spells, often long enough for a heal or a turn-around. This forces the Lina player to second-guess their primary function, as committing everything for no kill is a huge waste of resources and can easily lose a fight. The presence of Dazzle on the enemy team fundamentally changes how Lina has to approach her spell usage.

During the laning stage, Lina can still apply a lot of pressure with her range and high magic damage. The matchup really hinges on teamfights later on. Dazzle’s entire goal becomes anticipating Lina's target and being ready with the save. For Lina to succeed, she needs to either find and burst Dazzle before he can react, or try to bait the Grave onto a less valuable hero before committing her ultimate on the real prize. It's a constant mind game that slightly favors the reactive nature of Dazzle's kit.
