Dazzle vs Night Stalker

How this matchup plays

Saving an ally with Shallow Grave is the classic answer to a Night Stalker gank, but only if Dazzle can get the spell off. The entire matchup often boils down to Night Stalker's silence. If he can jump a target and hit Dazzle with Crippling Fear, the save never happens and the kill is secured. If Dazzle positions safely and avoids the silence, he can completely negate Night Stalker’s burst with a well-timed Grave. It becomes a cat-and-mouse game of positioning and initiation; Night Stalker hunts for an angle where he can silence the savior, while Dazzle plays back and waits to turn the gank around.

This tension defines the game from the first night onward. Night Stalker wants to set the tempo with aggressive pickoffs, forcing rotations and reactions. Dazzle, on the other hand, wants to slow the game down, enabling his cores to survive those ganks and eventually out-scale. Teamfights are decided by who gets caught first. If Night Stalker can find and kill Dazzle at the start, the fight is usually won. If Dazzle survives the initial dive, his sustained healing and saves can wear Night Stalker's team down completely.
