Dazzle vs Nyx Assassin

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other creates a game of cat and mouse. Nyx Assassin is perfectly equipped to hunt a hero like Dazzle, using Mana Burn to cripple his spellcasting and Vendetta to kill him from invisibility. This often makes Dazzle the primary target in any fight. In response, Dazzle's entire kit is designed to foil single-target burst. A well-timed Shallow Grave on an ally that Nyx has jumped on will completely waste his cooldowns, turning a gank attempt into a bad situation for the assassin.

The matchup often comes down to vision control and positioning. A good Nyx player will find and eliminate Dazzle before a fight even starts, effectively removing the enemy team's safety net. A good Dazzle player anticipates this, sticking close to allies and using defensive wards to avoid getting picked off. This forces Nyx to either initiate on a target that can be saved, or risk diving into multiple heroes to get to the support. The outcome really depends on which hero executes their job better in the moment.
