Dazzle vs Pangolier

How this matchup plays

Trying to blow up a target with Rolling Thunder is frustrating against a Dazzle. Pangolier's whole initiation pattern of rolling in and bursting a key hero with Swashbuckle can be completely undone by a single Shallow Grave. This forces him to either disengage or commit to a fight where his main combo failed, often leaving him overextended. Furthermore, Dazzle's spells consistently reduce armor, making Pangolier surprisingly fragile once his Shield Crash buffer is gone. This repeated physical damage threat chips away at him even when he tries to use his mobility to escape.

The matchup often revolves around baiting out that Shallow Grave. A patient Pangolier will try to force Dazzle's hand early, or use his ultimate to stun multiple targets and create chaos his team can exploit while Grave is on a single hero. Success for Pangolier depends on his team following up instantly to overwhelm the saved target or pivot to a different one.
