Dazzle vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst a hero down near Dazzle is often a mistake. Weaver excels at isolating a target, dealing a lot of damage quickly, and then escaping with Shukuchi. This entire game plan is complicated by Dazzle's presence. Shallow Grave is a direct answer to that burst damage, completely negating a kill attempt and leaving Weaver exposed. Poison Touch also makes the escape difficult; the persistent slow and damage can track Weaver even when he's invisible, preventing him from easily disengaging after a failed gank.

Throughout the game, this creates a frustrating dynamic for the Weaver player. He's forced to play around a single, crucial cooldown. A successful pick-off attempt can be instantly turned around, leaving him deep in enemy territory with his target still alive. Weaver's best approach is to try and bait out Shallow Grave on a less important target or to focus Dazzle first, but this is often risky. While Weaver can still find success if he catches someone alone or plays around the cooldown, Dazzle's kit fundamentally makes Weaver's primary objective much less reliable.
