Death Prophet vs Mirana

How this matchup plays

Trying to run down targets with Exorcism is incredibly difficult against Mirana. A single Sacred Arrow can stop Death Prophet in her tracks, leaving her completely exposed while her teamfight-winning ultimate is active. Although the ghosts keep attacking, she can't reposition or use Spirit Siphon to sustain herself, turning her from a major threat into an easy kill. Mirana also uses Leap to create space, breaking Siphon tethers and safely kiting Death Prophet until Exorcism ends. The mobility difference makes it hard for Death Prophet to ever play on her own terms.

This pressure begins early, as Mirana can roam for ganks on a vulnerable mid-lane Death Prophet. Later, fights often hinge on Mirana landing that key Arrow as soon as Exorcism is popped. Death Prophet is forced to play cautiously, relying on her team to body-block and provide vision so she can see the stun coming. Her item choices will often revolve around surviving that initial lockdown, because if Mirana can reliably disable her, her team's biggest spell is effectively wasted.
