Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Death Prophet wins the Death Prophet vs Shadow Demon matchup: Death Prophet beats Shadow Demon in 54.06% of 4,227 ranked matches.
Taking objectives is often easier for Death Prophet's team because Shadow Demon’s kit has a disastrous interaction with her ultimate. His primary save, Disruption, becomes a liability when Exorcism is active. If he tries to save an ally being focused by Death Prophet, the two illusions he creates will also be swarmed by ghosts, shredding his own backline. This forces the Shadow Demon to either hold his most important spell or risk making a bad situation worse. This gives her team much more freedom to push high ground and control the pace of the mid-game, as his ability to stall and reset fights is severely compromised.
