Picking Death Prophet into a potential Undying game is a risky draft. Death Prophet’s entire game plan hinges on using Exorcism and running at the enemy team, surviving long enough for the spirits to deal massive damage. Undying’s kit is designed to dismantle this approach. A well-placed Tombstone forces her to either flee the fight, wasting her ultimate, or be swarmed by zombies she can't easily escape. On top of that, repeated Decays steal her strength, leaving her too fragile to withstand the focus she draws, while Flesh Golem makes her slow and take even more damage.

This dynamic shapes the whole mid-game. Death Prophet hits a timing where she wants to group and push, but this is exactly when Undying is strongest. Every fight she tries to start, he can turn against her by dropping his spells and forcing her team to deal with his chaos instead.
