Disruptor vs Hoodwink

How this matchup plays

Catching a slippery Hoodwink can be a frustrating experience, but Disruptor has some of the best tools for the job. Her Scurry escape through the trees is often undone by a single Glimpse, pulling her right back into a bad spot. If Disruptor follows that up with Static Storm, she's silenced and stuck, unable to use her abilities to get away or fight back effectively. This provides a reliable way to deal with her core survivability, taking away the mobility she relies on to stay safe and reposition in fights.

The whole matchup usually comes down to who gets the drop on whom. Disruptor needs to land his spells to control Hoodwink, but he's quite fragile himself. A smart Hoodwink will use the trees for cover, looking for a Bushwhack stun to burst him down before he can react. If she can land her stun or a long-range Sharpshooter, the fight is over for Disruptor. So while he has a good kit for locking her down, it's really about vision control and whether Hoodwink can get the first shot in from the fog.
