Disruptor vs Jakiro

How this matchup plays

Catching Jakiro out of position is often easier than it is for other supports. He has slow movement and long cast times, making him a prime target for Glimpse right after he commits to a spell like Macropyre. While both heroes rely on area denial and control, Disruptor's tools are instant and punishing against a single target. Jakiro wants to set up a slow siege, but a good Glimpse completely undoes his positioning and often pulls him back into his own damage. This turns his slow, powerful setup into a liability.

The dynamic shifts throughout the game. During the lane, Jakiro can be a real problem, constantly pushing the wave and harassing from a safe distance with his low-cooldown spells. As teams start grouping, however, the fight becomes about who dictates the spacing. Jakiro tries to create a large, dangerous zone that no one wants to enter. Disruptor's plan is simpler: wait for one hero to step a little too far forward, then use Glimpse and Static Storm to get a pickoff before Jakiro’s slow-burn damage can turn the tide.
