How this matchup plays

Trying to punish an out-of-position enemy with Glimpse often feels like a race against the clock. Keeper of the Light can completely undo Disruptor's signature catch with a well-timed Recall, pulling his ally to safety before the Static Storm combo can land. This interaction defines the matchup. Additionally, Keeper of the Light can use Blinding Light to shove enemies away from a hero caught in Kinetic Field, buying crucial time or breaking the engagement entirely. This gives his team a consistent answer to Disruptor's primary initiation tool, forcing Disruptor to find different angles or targets.

The game often becomes about which support can better enable their team's strategy. Disruptor looks for opportunities to catch Keeper of the Light himself, as the silence from Static Storm removes all of his defensive options. Keeper of the Light, on the other hand, plays from a safe distance, using Illuminate to apply constant pressure on towers and force the enemy team to split up.
