Disruptor vs Kunkka

How this matchup plays

Saving an ally from a long-distance Glimpse is one of Kunkka's main jobs in this matchup. By placing X Marks the Spot on a teammate, he can recall them to safety even after Disruptor sends them traveling back across the map. This forces Disruptor to reconsider his primary target, as a well-timed X can completely negate his catch potential on a core hero. Kunkka can also use this trick on himself, making him a very difficult opponent to pin down and punish. This interaction turns what would be a simple pick-off into a battle of reflexes.

The matchup isn't one-sided, though. Disruptor still has plenty of tools to cause problems. Kunkka often needs to be near his team to land a good combo or provide his Ghostship buff, which makes them prime targets for a big Kinetic Field and Static Storm combination. If Disruptor can bait out the X Mark, or if Kunkka uses it on the wrong target, a Glimpse can still secure a kill. The fight often comes down to who acts first and who anticipates the other's moves better.
