Disruptor vs Marci

How this matchup plays

Catching Marci can feel impossible for some heroes, but Disruptor has the perfect tool. A well-timed Glimpse completely negates her Rebound initiation, sending her back to where she jumped from with her team left out of position. If Marci dives a core, Disruptor can simply rewind her aggression with one button. The opposite is also true, however. Disruptor is a fragile hero, and if Marci gets on top of him first, she can often kill him with Dispose and Unleash before he has a chance to cast his spells. The interaction often comes down to who acts first.

This creates a tense cat-and-mouse game across the map. A good Marci player will be very conscious of where Disruptor is, perhaps using smoke or waiting for him to show before committing to a fight. Disruptor, in turn, needs to play from the back lines, staying safe enough to punish a dive without getting caught himself. Once Marci gets a Black King Bar, she can ignore Glimpse and Kinetic Field, making it much easier for her to run at Disruptor's team. It becomes a constant battle of positioning and item timings for both heroes.
