Disruptor vs Muerta

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other comes down to a test of spell timing. Disruptor has a classic lockdown combo with Glimpse and Static Storm that can trap and kill most heroes. The problem is Muerta's Pierce the Veil. While active, she's immune to physical attacks and can often survive the initial setup. However, she is not immune to magic, so Static Storm's silence and damage remain a huge problem for her, even if her allies can't help finish the job with right-clicks. This core interaction prevents either hero from having a clear advantage from the draft alone.

The whole game becomes a duel over initiation. Disruptor's goal is to Glimpse Muerta back into his team before she has a chance to activate her ultimate. A successful catch usually leads to a kill. For Muerta, it’s about anticipating the lockdown. She can either use her ultimate preemptively to survive the initial control or wait for Disruptor to use his spells on someone else before she commits to a fight. A Black King Bar is often the deciding factor, allowing her to ignore Disruptor's spells entirely and turn the fight around.
