Disruptor vs Primal Beast

How this matchup plays

Controlling Primal Beast is the whole challenge here. Disruptor has the ideal tools on paper: Glimpse can send a charging Beast right back where he came from, and Kinetic Field into Static Storm is a classic way to punish a hero who has to stand still for his own Pulverize ultimate. The problem is that Primal Beast is incredibly durable. He can often survive the initial damage and, once he gets a Black King Bar, he can ignore Disruptor's control completely. This turns every interaction into a question of timing—can Disruptor lock him down before BKB, or does the beast get his charge off first?

This tension defines the matchup from the mid-game onward. Fights often come down to which of these two heroes gets the jump on the other. If Primal Beast can find and eliminate Disruptor before a teamfight breaks out, his team has a massive advantage. On the other hand, a well-positioned Disruptor who stays far back can completely neutralize Primal Beast's initiation with a single well-timed Glimpse. Neither hero reliably counters the other; instead, they force each other to play cautiously, and the outcome depends entirely on positioning and execution in the moment.
