Disruptor vs Clockwerk

How this matchup plays

Getting caught out by Clockwerk’s Hookshot is often a death sentence, but Disruptor has all the tools to ruin his initiation. If Clockwerk jumps another hero, a simple Glimpse sends him straight back to his starting point, leaving him stranded and his team without their primary initiator. Even if Clockwerk manages to trap Disruptor himself in Battery Assault and Power Cogs, Disruptor can place Kinetic Field and Static Storm on his own position. This turns the trap on its head, often punishing Clockwerk for being so aggressive in the first place.

The matchup really comes down to who acts first and who they target. A successful hook on Disruptor from out of vision often means he's dead before he can react. Clockwerk players will try to find these angles, or wait for Glimpse to be used on someone else before they commit. On the other hand, a patient Disruptor can completely neutralize Clockwerk's impact in a teamfight by staying back and waiting for the hook. It creates a tense standoff where neither hero can comfortably execute their game plan if the other is present.
