Thinking you can Glimpse every Charge of Darkness is the main trap. While Disruptor's ability to send an enemy back is powerful, Spirit Breaker has his own tools for the job. Bulldoze provides status resistance, which can reduce the effectiveness of Disruptor's control spells and make it easier for Spirit Breaker to connect with his target. If he chooses to charge Disruptor directly, especially from out of vision, the support often dies before getting a spell off. The matchup isn't about a hard counter; it's a duel of reaction times and positioning where both heroes have a way to spoil the other's plan.

Early on, a well-played Disruptor can make Spirit Breaker's ganks feel useless, saving teammates across the map with a single button. The game shifts once Spirit Breaker gets a Black King Bar. With spell immunity active, he can ignore Kinetic Field and Static Storm entirely and run straight at the back line. At that point, Disruptor's survival depends on having items like a Force Staff or Ghost Scepter ready. The fight comes down to who gets the jump and whether key abilities and items are off cooldown, making the outcome highly dependent on circumstance.
