Disruptor vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Catching a Weaver who uses Shukuchi to escape can be a real headache, but Disruptor has the ideal tools for the job. A well-timed Glimpse sends Weaver right back to where he was a few seconds ago, completely negating his primary escape. Following up with Kinetic Field and Static Storm creates a trap he can't easily get out of. The silence from Static Storm is key, as it prevents Weaver from using Time Lapse to rewind the damage and health loss, making him a much easier target for your team to burst down.

This dynamic hinges heavily on positioning and cooldowns, which keeps the matchup from being one-sided. An experienced Weaver will be constantly aware of Glimpse's range and cooldown, baiting it out or waiting for Disruptor to use it on someone else before committing. Items like Linken's Sphere or a BKB can also completely nullify Disruptor's control later in the game. It becomes a mind game where Disruptor needs to find the right moment to strike, while Weaver looks for windows of opportunity when those crucial spells aren't available.
