Dragon Knight vs Earthshaker

How this matchup plays

Laning against Dragon Knight often feels like hitting a brick wall due to his passive armor and regeneration. Earthshaker, however, provides a way to crack it. A well-placed Fissure can trap Dragon Knight for long enough that allies can finally burn through his substantial health pool. Without that kind of long-duration terrain block, DK can frequently survive gank attempts that would kill most other cores. The stun from Dragon Tail is a threat, but Earthshaker can typically land his Fissure from outside Dragon Knight's initiation range, creating a classic standoff.

This dynamic continues into the mid-game, where Dragon Knight wants to group with his team and push towers. Earthshaker excels at defending against these five-man pushes, using Fissure to clear waves and Echo Slam to punish the inevitable clustering around an objective. The outcome of these fights often hinges on who gets the jump. If Earthshaker can isolate DK or catch his team grouped up, he can turn the fight. If Dragon Knight's team finds and deletes Earthshaker before he can use his spells, their push becomes very difficult to stop.
