Dragon Knight vs Nature's Prophet

How this matchup plays

Pushing a tower against Dragon Knight is a thankless task for Nature's Prophet. Treants from Nature's Call are wiped out by a single Breathe Fire, and once Elder Dragon Form is available, the corrosive splash damage melts summons and pushes the lane back effortlessly. This negates Prophet's main method of creating map pressure. If Nature's Prophet ever gets caught out, Dragon Knight's long-duration stun from Dragon Tail is more than enough to cancel Teleportation and secure a kill. His innate tankiness also means he isn't threatened by Prophet’s typical harassment or gank attempts.

Throughout the mid-game, this dynamic defines the map. Dragon Knight can simply sit in whatever lane Prophet tries to pressure and stonewall the push. This forces Nature's Prophet to play passively, avoiding DK at all costs and trying to find farm in unsafe areas. The game gets even harder if Dragon Knight builds a Blink Dagger, as he can then proactively hunt Prophet across the map. Prophet's best response is to get vision and hope his team can make plays elsewhere while he's being neutralized.
