Dragon Knight vs Muerta

How this matchup plays

Trading blows in a teamfight often leaves both heroes feeling like they have an answer. Muerta can use Pierce the Veil to become immune to Dragon Knight's physical attacks, letting her unload damage while he can't fight back effectively. But Dragon Knight's Dragon Tail isn't stopped by her ultimate, allowing him to stun her for his team to follow up on. He's also naturally durable enough to often survive her magic damage burst, then re-engage once her invulnerability ends. Neither hero has a clean way to finish the other off.

The matchup comes down to timings and team support. Dragon Knight wants to group up early with his Elder Dragon Form to take objectives, a phase where Muerta is still farming and relatively weak. Later on, Muerta's goal is to kite him and wait for the right moment to commit her ultimate. A well-placed slow from her team can stop DK from getting his stun off, while a timely save from DK's team can help him survive her damage window. The fight is often decided by which team better enables their hero's game plan.
