Dragon Knight vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes often means you don't want to see the other on the enemy team. Dragon Knight wants to be a durable frontliner, but Undying undermines this plan from the very start. Repeated casts of Decay sap Dragon Knight's strength, making him surprisingly fragile and unable to trade effectively. The bigger problem is Tombstone. A Dragon Form that can only attack one target at a time is completely overwhelmed by zombies. He can’t clear them, he can’t ignore them, and he can’t reach his real target while being slowed and worn down.

This dynamic shapes the entire game. Laning is miserable for Dragon Knight, as he’s constantly weakened and at risk. Later on, his big ultimate cooldown feels wasted. He'll transform to push a tower or start a fight, only for Undying to drop Tombstone and completely stall the aggression. Dragon Knight’s team is forced to divert all their attention to killing the Tombstone, buying space and time for Undying’s allies. Without significant help from his team to clear the zombies, Dragon Knight simply can’t perform his main job.
