Earthshaker vs Queen of Pain

How this matchup plays

Picking an elusive core like Queen of Pain often feels safe, but Earthshaker has the right tools to make her life difficult. Fissure provides a long-range, reliable stun that she can’t always react to with Blink. Once caught, the chain stuns from Aftershock can keep her locked down. This makes her primary survival tool feel less dependable, as Earthshaker can threaten her from well outside her normal engagement range. Her relatively low health pool means any successful Fissure block during a gank can easily lead to her death.

This dynamic forces Queen of Pain to play with much more caution. Throughout the mid-game, she can't blink aggressively to find pickoffs if Earthshaker is missing from the map. In teamfights, she is heavily discouraged from blinking into the enemy team to use Sonic Wave, as a well-timed Echo Slam can instantly turn her initiation into a disaster for her team. She has to play around vision, wait for him to use his spells first, or commit to an early defensive item like a Black King Bar, which can slow down her own offensive timing.
