Elder Titan vs Treant Protector

How this matchup plays

Picking one of these heroes into the other creates an interesting tactical problem. Treant Protector’s Overgrowth is normally a great way to lock down a team, but since it only roots, it doesn't stop Elder Titan from channeling Echo Stomp. This can completely reverse an initiation, as Elder Titan can put Treant's entire team to sleep. Natural Order also makes the normally durable Treant extremely vulnerable to physical damage by stripping his base armor. Still, Treant Protector can find advantages elsewhere on the map. His global Living Armor provides sustain for his team, and he can use Nature's Guise to avoid Elder Titan and set up kills on more important targets, winning the game without ever having to fight him directly.
