Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Viper wins the Elder Titan vs Viper matchup: Viper beats Elder Titan in 52.22% of 4,588 ranked matches.
Trying to focus Viper with physical damage after a good Astral Spirit hit seems like the right call, but it rarely works out. Viper's Corrosive Skin makes every attack a painful trade, slowing you down and damaging you in return. More importantly, Nethertoxin applies a break that can completely disable Elder Titan's Natural Order aura, which is a huge part of his contribution. Without that magic resistance and armor reduction for his team, Elder Titan's impact drops significantly. Viper is also durable enough to often live through Earth Splitter, and his constant slows make it hard for a hero as positional as Elder Titan to do his job.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
