Enchantress vs Faceless Void

How this matchup plays

Fighting an Enchantress head-on can feel impossible because of her massive attack slow. Faceless Void relies on high attack speed to get stuns from Time Lock, so he often finds himself unable to finish her off if he can't get a good initiation. She can kite him endlessly from a distance, and he's stuck barely able to swing his weapon. However, this entire dynamic flips completely when Chronosphere is available. The ultimate locks her in place and lets Void attack freely, ignoring her passive entirely. This makes him one of the few carries with a clean answer to her defensive abilities, but only when his signature spell is ready.

The game becomes a cycle based on Chronosphere's cooldown. When it's up, the Faceless Void's team can confidently seek fights, knowing they have a tool to eliminate Enchantress. She has to play defensively and rely on her team for saves. When Chronosphere is down, Enchantress can push lanes, take objectives, and run at Void's allies with impunity, knowing he has no reliable way to stop her. The matchup is less about which hero is stronger and more about which team can better play around this single, long-cooldown spell.
