Enchantress vs Hoodwink

How this matchup plays

Walking through the trees as Enchantress is a constant risk when a Hoodwink is in the game. Hoodwink’s combo of Acorn Shot and Bushwhack provides a clean stun and a burst of physical damage that largely ignores the attack slow from Untouchable. A full Sharpshooter follow-up can often be enough to finish the job before Enchantress can react. On the other hand, Hoodwink is a fragile hero who melts to the pure damage from Impetus. If Enchantress can survive the initial burst with Nature’s Attendants or simply dodge the setup, she can easily turn and run Hoodwink down with her own attacks.

This creates a tense, vision-based duel throughout the game. Both heroes want to get the drop on the other from the fog of war. Hoodwink will play around trees, looking for the perfect angle for her stun, while Enchantress will try to scout ahead with a dominated creep to find her target. The fight is typically decided by who lands the first spell. Since either hero can kill the other from a good initiation, but will likely lose if they get caught themselves, the outcome feels very dependent on execution and positioning from moment to moment.
