Enchantress vs Jakiro

How this matchup plays

Getting harassed by Jakiro's spells can be a problem, since his magic damage completely ignores Untouchable. However, Enchantress can often mitigate his slow-burning damage with Nature's Attendants. The bigger issue for Jakiro is positioning. Enchantress is mobile and wants to fight from a long distance to maximize her Impetus damage, while the very slow Jakiro needs to get close to land his most impactful spells like Ice Path. This gives Enchantress the upper hand in controlling the engagement, allowing her to stay at her preferred range where she can poke him down safely.

During the lane, this matchup can feel pretty even, with both heroes trading resources. As the game develops, though, Enchantress's advantage in mobility becomes more significant. She can play on the outskirts of teamfights, making it very difficult for Jakiro to land his area-of-effect spells on her. He is at his best when heroes are grouped up and locked down, but Enchantress is a naturally elusive target who prefers to skirmish. This forces Jakiro to rely on his teammates to catch Enchantress, while she can often create her own favorable fights.
