Enchantress vs Wraith King

How this matchup plays

Picking these two heroes into each other often feels like a mistake when they work so well on the same team. Enchantress wants to wear down a single target with Impetus, but Wraith King's entire design undoes her plan. Forcing her to kill him twice with Reincarnation is a huge resource drain, often leaving her without enough mana or positioning to handle his second life. His own stun locks her in place, preventing her from kiting, and his critical strikes mean any attempt at a direct trade is a losing battle for Enchantress.

During the game, Enchantress has to play with extreme caution once Wraith King gets his ultimate and a way to close the distance. He actively hunts her, knowing she can't burst him down before he gets his spells off. This forces her into buying defensive items earlier than she'd like, while her team needs to provide constant vision and backup. The Wraith King player, meanwhile, can confidently initiate on her, creating an easy opening for his team to exploit, knowing she is a prime and fragile target.
