Enchantress vs Skywrath Mage

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Enchantress can be a real test of a Skywrath Mage's timing. Her low health pool makes her a tempting target for his magical onslaught, but if she survives the initial volley from Arcane Bolt and Mystic Flare, her Nature's Attendants can heal back almost all the damage he dealt. The whole fight hinges on those first few seconds. A well-timed silence from Skywrath can prevent the heal and secure the kill, but any delay gives Enchantress a window to turn the fight, especially since Untouchable makes it impossible for him to finish her with right-clicks.

This dynamic creates a game of cat and mouse from the very start. In lane, Skywrath Mage often has the advantage, able to harass and threaten a kill on Enchantress with his low cooldowns. As the game goes on, however, the tables can turn. If Enchantress gets defensive items or simply out-levels him, she becomes incredibly durable against his specific type of damage. The game then depends on which hero's team can better play around their timings. A Skywrath who gets ahead can snowball the map, but an Enchantress who weathers the storm can become a raid boss he can't solve.
