Enchantress vs Slardar

How this matchup plays

Getting jumped by a Slardar is often a problem for Enchantress. Her Untouchable passive is excellent at slowing down heroes who rely on consistent attack speed, but Slardar’s threat comes more from lockdown. A well-timed Slithereen Crush into follow-up bashes can prevent her from creating distance or healing with Nature's Attendants. Once Enchantress is held in place, she’s fragile enough for him and his allies to burst down. Corrosive Haze helps his team finish the job, making any physical damage stick.

This dynamic forces Enchantress to play much more cautiously once Slardar gets his key items like a Blink Dagger. She can’t farm aggressively or position boldly in teamfights, as she becomes a primary target for his initiation. Enchantress will need to rely on superior vision and her team's protection, often building a Force Staff to escape his initial stun. The matchup isn't one-sided, though. If Slardar fails to secure a kill during the stun duration, Enchantress can easily turn and punish him with her own slows and damage as he tries to retreat.
