Thinking Viper automatically wins this matchup is a common mistake. While Nethertoxin does break Enchantress’s Untouchable passive, it's a fixed area on the ground. An experienced Enchantress can often play around the edges of this zone, using her superior movement speed to kite. Viper has to commit Nethertoxin to a specific spot, and if he misplaces it or uses it too early, Enchantress is free to fight back. Her Impetus damage comes from range, allowing her to poke from outside the pool's radius. This turns the engagement into a positioning duel rather than a simple counter.
