Enchantress vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Slowing down attacks with Untouchable is a natural problem for a hero like Weaver, who depends on getting multiple hits off quickly. This makes it hard for him to trade effectively or threaten a kill on Enchantress in a direct fight. However, Weaver has his own answers. Shukuchi allows him to instantly close the distance, which guts the damage from Impetus. He can also use Time Lapse to undo a big Impetus hit or dodge the projectile entirely, making it very difficult for Enchantress to secure a solo kill on him. The Swarm can also be a real issue for her typically low armor.

This dynamic often results in a stalemate between the two heroes. During the laning phase, Weaver is usually slippery enough to survive Enchantress's aggression and find his farm. Later on, their objectives diverge. Enchantress wants to group up and force fights where her aura protects allies from Weaver, while Weaver prefers to split the map and look for isolated targets he can burst. Since neither hero really wants to man-fight the other, the game is often decided by which of them better enables their team's broader strategy.
