Faceless Void vs Hoodwink

How this matchup plays

Catching Hoodwink inside Chronosphere is a huge problem for her. All of her survivability tools, like Scurry's evasion and movement speed near trees, are completely negated while she's frozen. She can't use Bushwhack to stun Faceless Void or use items to get away. This creates a very reliable window for Void to eliminate a key backline hero. Outside of that ultimate, however, Hoodwink can be a real nuisance. Her ability to create trees with Acorn Shot and stun from long range makes it tough for a melee carry like Void to close the distance without taking damage or getting controlled.

The matchup becomes a game of positioning. Hoodwink needs to play from the absolute maximum range, using vision and tree cover to stay safe while contributing with Sharpshooter and Bushwhack. If she misjudges her distance for even a moment, she's likely dead. Faceless Void is always looking for that one opening to jump and lock her down. The advantage leans his way because Chronosphere is such a definitive answer to her kite-and-evade playstyle, but it's a slight one because a good Hoodwink player has the tools to make his life difficult before he finds that perfect moment.
