Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Legion Commander wins the Faceless Void vs Legion Commander matchup: Legion Commander beats Faceless Void in 56.78% of 58,110 ranked matches.
Getting locked down by Duel is a disaster for Faceless Void, since he can't use Time Walk to escape. Legion Commander can often initiate on him before he can even think about using Chronosphere. Even if Void does manage to trap her in his ultimate, Legion can frequently survive the duration with Press the Attack and her own items. She can then immediately turn and Duel him the moment it ends, completely reversing the situation and negating his biggest teamfight contribution.
This dynamic forces Faceless Void to play from behind. He needs to farm safely and avoid direct confrontation, which is difficult when Legion Commander is actively hunting him to build up Duel damage. Teamfights hinge on who acts first. While Void is looking for a multi-hero Chronosphere, Legion is looking for one target: him. Her goal is simpler and often easier to execute, putting Void's team at a constant disadvantage until he has a significant item lead to try and outlast her.
