Faceless Void vs Pudge

How this matchup plays

Trying to secure farm can feel dangerous for Faceless Void, as Pudge is always a threat to pull him out of position with a Meat Hook. If Dismember follows, Void is often dead before he can react, slowing his item progression. This interaction is a two-way street, though. Pudge can't really stop Chronosphere once it's up, and he has no mobility to escape it himself. A well-timed hook can save an ally caught inside, but it can also pull Faceless Void out of his own spell, potentially wasting his biggest cooldown.

The matchup often hinges on which hero sets the tempo. Pudge tries to apply constant pressure from the early game, looking for kills to keep Faceless Void from getting his core items. Void's plan is to survive this, farm up, and then take over the game with a big Chronosphere. In later teamfights, the pressure flips. A single misstep can mean Pudge gets caught and deleted, while a clutch hook can save a key teammate from the dome and turn the entire fight around.
