Faceless Void vs Techies

How this matchup plays

Catching Faceless Void with a good initiation can be tricky when Techies has prepared the area. Walking into a teamfight through a field of Proximity Mines is a huge problem for Void's teammates, often forcing them to abandon him inside Chronosphere or take heavy damage trying to help. This map control can really disrupt Void's game plan. On the other hand, Chronosphere is one of the best ways to deal with a slippery Techies. Once locked down, he has no escape and can't use Blast Off! to silence anyone. Time Walk also lets Void effectively undo the damage from a single mine, making him difficult to pick off with traps alone.

The matchup often hinges on which hero gets to play on their own terms. If Faceless Void can find and catch Techies before a fight, his team can secure an easy kill and take objectives freely. But if Techies dictates the fighting ground, Void is forced into awkward initiations that his team can't safely follow up on. Success depends on good vision control from Void's team to clear mines, and smart positioning from Techies to avoid getting caught by Chronosphere before he can set up his defenses.
