Nature's Prophet vs Lone Druid

How this matchup plays

Picking Nature's Prophet feels like a liability when Lone Druid is a possible opponent. Both heroes want to apply pressure by pushing lanes, but Lone Druid's tools are simply better suited for the job and directly counter what Nature's Prophet wants to do. The Spirit Bear clears Treants with ease, neutralizing NP’s main method of farming and pushing waves. Furthermore, Sprout is an irrelevant spell against the Bear, and Nature's Prophet himself has no way to stand and fight Lone Druid and his companion at any stage of the game.

This dynamic forces the Nature's Prophet player into a desperate game of avoidance. While NP tries to split-push, Lone Druid can send his Bear to shut down that lane, effectively being in two places at once with more power. If Nature's Prophet teleports in to help a teamfight, he becomes a primary target for the very durable Bear, which can easily close the distance and kill him. Lone Druid dictates the pace of the game by creating pressure that NP can't answer, ultimately taking over the map while NP is left trying to find a safe lane to farm.
