Nature's Prophet vs Night Stalker

How this matchup plays

Farming the edges of the map as Nature's Prophet becomes a huge risk against a Night Stalker. Prophet's whole game is about using Teleportation to create pressure and farm where others can't. Night Stalker is designed to punish exactly that. Once night falls, his superior vision and movement speed let him hunt anywhere on the map. The silence from Crippling Fear is the real problem, as it completely shuts down Prophet's ability to teleport away or even use Sprout to create a barrier. Without his escape, Nature's Prophet is an easy target.

This forces the Prophet to play scared from the first night cycle. He can't split-push effectively, which is his primary contribution. Instead of creating space for his team, he often has to huddle with them for safety, playing a role he isn't built for. A Night Stalker can snowball hard by repeatedly finding and killing the enemy Nature's Prophet, starving him of the farm he needs to be a threat. Prophet is forced to buy defensive items he doesn't want, while Night Stalker gets to play his ideal aggressive game.
