Nature's Prophet vs Outworld Destroyer

How this matchup plays

Picking Nature's Prophet into an Outworld Destroyer is a tough sell for any draft. Prophet relies on his summons for pressure and his body for pickoffs, but OD's kit dismantles both. Astral Imprisonment is a perfect answer to Sprout, saving a teammate or setting up a kill on Nature's Prophet himself. More importantly, Prophet's low intelligence pool makes him incredibly vulnerable to Sanity's Eclipse. The more mana Outworld Destroyer has, the more damage Prophet takes, often getting deleted before he can even use his items or Teleportation to escape.

This dynamic plays out across the map. In fights, OD can ignore the Treants and focus on bursting Prophet down or banishing him to disrupt his positioning. Nature's Prophet wants to split the map and force reactions, but OD farms so quickly that he can often match that tempo and show up to fights with a decisive item advantage. Prophet's main strategy becomes avoiding OD at all costs, but a single misstep or a well-placed ward can lead to a quick death without much recourse. His global presence is negated by the constant threat of being one-shot.
