Nature's Prophet vs Puck

How this matchup plays

A good Sprout is often a death sentence, but Puck can ignore the trees with Phase Shift or simply escape over them with Illusory Orb. This fundamental interaction makes it incredibly hard for Nature's Prophet to lock down and kill his target. Puck can also reliably interrupt Teleportation with the silence from Waning Rift, shutting down Prophet's attempts to gank or escape. Even Dream Coil is a massive problem, as it punishes the mobility Prophet relies on to split push and reposition in fights.

This leaves Nature's Prophet in a tough spot. He can’t easily make aggressive plays on Puck, who is often safe to farm and shove lanes. Prophet is instead forced to play a more passive game of split-pushing, trying to create pressure that draws Puck away from the main action. Puck, on the other hand, can confidently take control of the map's tempo, knowing he has multiple ways to disengage from any trap Nature's Prophet tries to spring. It becomes a game of objectives versus heroes, and Puck's tools give him the upper hand in controlling the latter.
