Nature's Prophet vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to use Sprout for a kill or an escape is a bad time against Snapfire. Her Scatterblast destroys the trees, completely nullifying one of Nature's Prophet's signature spells. This same problem extends to his Treants from Nature's Call. Both Scatterblast and her ultimate, Mortimer Kisses, can clear entire waves of them instantly, which shuts down his ability to push lanes, farm the jungle, or contribute meaningful damage in a fight. Snapfire effectively dismantles the core components of what Nature's Prophet wants to accomplish at every stage of the game.

As the game progresses, Nature's Prophet is forced to play a frustrating style of Dota. His attempts to split-push are constantly thwarted by Snapfire's excellent wave clear from a safe distance. If he tries to join a teamfight with Teleportation, he becomes a fragile target who can't even rely on Sprout to keep enemies in place or save himself. Snapfire will usually be looking for him, ready to unload her spells the moment he appears. His best bet is to avoid her entirely, but her global ultimate can often find his pushes anyway.
