Nature's Prophet vs Tidehunter

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map with split-pushing becomes incredibly difficult against Tidehunter. The core of what Nature's Prophet wants to do—apply pressure and farm dangerously—is shut down by how durable Tide is. Kraken Shell makes him almost immune to the physical damage from Prophet and his treants, meaning he can't be pushed out of a lane or burst down easily. A solo Nature's Prophet caught by a Gush and Anchor Smash combination is often a dead hero with no real way to fight back. Tidehunter isn't simply surviving the pressure; he actively profits from it.

This dynamic forces Nature's Prophet to play far more passively. He can't safely shove waves deep, which slows down his farm and limits his team's map control. In teamfights, Tidehunter's impact is immense; a single Ravage can lock down Prophet's entire team, while Prophet himself lacks the tools to stop Tide from walking in. Sprout does very little to a hero this tanky. Prophet's team has to win every lane decisively and end the game early, because a mid-game Tidehunter with his ultimate online creates a problem they simply cannot solve.
