Nature's Prophet vs Ursa

How this matchup plays

Trying to cage Ursa with Sprout is a bad plan. He cuts through the trees in a moment, especially with Overpower active, completely negating Nature's Prophet's primary tool for control and escape. Without a reliable way to keep his distance, Nature's Prophet is exceptionally vulnerable. Ursa can close the gap with an item like a Blink Dagger and quickly overwhelm him before his Teleportation can finish channeling. Even Prophet's treants from Nature's Call become a liability, giving Ursa free stacks of Fury Swipes to ramp up his damage even faster.

This dynamic shapes the entire mid-game. Once Ursa has his core items, Nature's Prophet can no longer split push safely. The constant threat of being hunted down forces him to play reactively and stick closer to his team, which undermines his entire game plan of applying global pressure. Ursa, on the other hand, gets to dictate the pace, forcing fights and picking off a hero who is designed to avoid him. Prophet's team has to invest heavily in saves and kiting tools specifically for Ursa, while Prophet himself can offer little to stop the bear's rampage.
