Hoodwink vs Leshrac

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst Leshrac from full health seems like a straightforward plan for Hoodwink. The problem is that her main damage comes from Sharpshooter, which requires her to channel in place. This is a death sentence against a hero whose entire game plan is to run at you with Pulse Nova active. While Hoodwink is winding up her ultimate, Leshrac’s sustained magic damage can easily be enough to kill her first. Her Scurry offers some protection from attacks and helps dodge his stun, but it does nothing against the constant pressure of his area-of-effect spells.

This creates a dynamic where neither hero can comfortably initiate on the other without an advantage. Leshrac wants to run with his team to force fights in the open where Hoodwink can’t hide, relying on his team to hold her down. Hoodwink, on the other hand, plays from the fog and tree lines, looking for a clean Bushwhack to set up a pickoff before a real fight can break out. The winner is usually decided by which player has better vision and positioning, not by an inherent advantage in their kits.
