How this matchup plays

Catching Lina with Bushwhack seems like it should be a straightforward kill, but the fight is rarely that simple. The root will hold her in place, setting up a Sharpshooter, yet it doesn't interrupt her casting. This gives Lina a crucial window to turn and unload her own spells, from Light Strike Array to Laguna Blade. Hoodwink has to rely on Scurry's passive evasion and active movement to dodge Lina’s burst damage. The whole exchange becomes a tense game of reflexes where either hero can die if they react a split-second too late.

This makes the matchup a true glass cannon duel from start to finish. Hoodwink plays from the trees, trying to initiate from fog with a full combo. Lina prefers to stay in open ground with vision, ready to delete anyone who steps into her range. If Hoodwink gets the perfect jump from an unexpected angle, Lina will fall. But if Lina spots the squirrel first, or has a single teammate nearby to provide a stun, Hoodwink is usually the one who gets blown up before she can get away.
