Hoodwink vs Meepo

How this matchup plays

Getting caught by an Earthbind net out of position is often a death sentence for Hoodwink. Meepo's ability to lock her down with multiple nets prevents her from using Scurry to escape through trees, which is her primary defensive tool. While a well-placed Bushwhack can disable the main Meepo, he can often spread his clones to minimize the risk, and it’s difficult for Hoodwink to burst him down before the others can Poof in to help or trade back. Hoodwink’s Acorn Shot can do respectable damage if it bounces between clustered Meepo clones, but Meepo generally dictates the engagement.

The matchup often comes down to positioning and vision. Meepo wants to find and jump on Hoodwink before she can get her spells off, using his multiple bodies to farm aggressively and control the map, forcing her into a defensive posture. Hoodwink has to play from the fringes of fights, using the trees for cover and waiting for a perfect opportunity to stun the primary Meepo. It's an uphill battle for her because Meepo's aggression is constant, while her chances to turn a fight rely on landing a specific skillshot under pressure.
