Hoodwink vs Naga Siren

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can burst Naga Siren with a quick combo is a common trap. When she populates the screen with Mirror Image, it becomes very difficult for Hoodwink to land Bushwhack on the correct hero. The ground-targeted stun might catch an illusion or two, but the real Naga often walks free. Acorn Shot bounces can also be wasted on illusions, reducing Hoodwink's damage output significantly. Naga's illusions provide a constant buffer against these targeted spells, absorbing damage and creating confusion.

This dynamic means Hoodwink has a good window early in the game to bully Naga Siren before she can reliably create copies. As the game goes on, Naga's ability to split push and farm with illusions makes her a frustrating target. For Hoodwink to be effective, she needs help from her team to get vision and lockdown on the real Naga. Otherwise, she'll spend fights clearing out illusions with her spells while the real Naga Siren either escapes or uses Ensnare to lock down a more important target.
