Thinking you can easily lock down Puck with Hoodwink is often a mistake. While Bushwhack seems perfect for catching an evasive hero, Puck has all the answers. Phase Shift dodges the Acorn Shot setup, Waning Rift silences Sharpshooter, and Illusory Orb lets him escape even if he gets tagged. The fight really hinges on surprise. If Hoodwink lands a clean stun from an unseen position, Puck is fragile enough to die. If Puck sees her move first, he has the tools to dodge her spells and punish her positioning.

Through the game, this becomes a battle over map control. Hoodwink wants to play from the treelines, using her Scurry passive and vision to set up ambushes. Puck wants to do the exact opposite, pushing waves to create open space and initiating fights where Bushwhack isn't a threat. It’s a genuine coin flip that depends on who gets the jump.
