Hoodwink vs Silencer

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a big Sharpshooter from the trees becomes much harder when Silencer is on the other team. A well-timed Global Silence can completely waste the channel, and even a targeted silence from Last Word will stop a quick Bushwhack and Scurry combo. Hoodwink relies on casting spells in rapid succession to contribute and survive ganks, but Silencer’s entire kit is designed to punish and interrupt that rhythm. The constant threat of being silenced makes it difficult for Hoodwink to play at the edge of fights where she's most effective.

This dynamic forces Hoodwink to play more cautiously throughout the game. She often has to wait for Global Silence to be used before committing her own ultimate, or is forced into buying items that can dispel the silence. Silencer, on the other hand, can use that pressure to control space, knowing he has a reliable way to shut down Hoodwink's escape or counter-initiation. The matchup isn't impossible, as Hoodwink can still find success by playing around the cooldowns, but the constant need to adapt gives the Silencer's team a consistent, if small, advantage.
